NIC Idaho is currently looking for a Marketing and Customer Service Specialist to join their growing team. NIC Idaho (DBA Access Idaho) is a wholly owned subsidiary of NIC, Inc. We are currently seeking a motivated team player to work closely within our tight-knit family atmosphere to serve as our Marketing and Customer Service Specialist. The ideal candidate will be a creative customer service professional that has a passion for writing and the web to help support our corporate marketing team by creating web content and managing our social media for our local office. Our ideal candidate will be proficient within various social media platforms, have strong written and verbal communication skills, and is someone who likes to wear multiple hats and enjoys being a team player. This will be a great role for someone to help keep our local office running smoothly while helping us deliver and communicate the great work we deliver to the State of Idaho.


  • Help Marketing Department with application set-up’s
  • Help train customers on applications 
  • Help update application manuals
  • Assist with marketing newsletters
  • Help with marketing campaigns
  • Help with writing and/or producing demonstration videos
  • Conduct or assist with producing training webinars
  • Provide assistance to Customer Service department via phone and email for customers unfamiliar with online eGovernment services/applications
  • Email customers login information to gain access to requested application (Example: resetting usernames and passwords)
  • Provide assistance with front office enhancements
  • Support financial month-end close process
  • Liaise with corporate accounting team
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as needed for Operations and Front Office management


  • High school diploma (post-secondary education or college degree a plus)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of basic accounting/bookkeeping practices
  • Phone and video communication (i.e., Zoom, Teams) skills
  • Reside in Boise metro area

Preferred Experience

  • Customer service/support
  • Familiarity with email marketing, LinkedIn and social media platforms
  • Writing and producing short marketing videos
  • Writing and editing newsletter articles
