Melba School District and Compass Public Charter School now use Access Idaho’s PayPort service to process credit and debit card payments

The Melba School District in Melba, Idaho, and Compass Public Charter School in Meridian, Idaho, now provide the option to pay some school-related fees online with credit and debit cards, thanks to Access Idaho’s PayPort secure payment processing service.

“We are excited to offer a way for parents and legal guardians to pay for student lunches and other school fees online,” said Dalelyn Allen, Melba School District Business Manager.

Compass Business Manager, Cindy Stover, added, “We have found PayPort to be convenient and easy to use at our front desk. More and more people prefer paying by credit or debit card.”

Both entities accept any credit or debit card displaying a Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express logo.

Access Idaho’s partnership with Melba School District and Compass operates under a self-funded model in which no tax dollars or school funds are used to develop or maintain the service.

Melba School District and Compass Public Charter School are the second and third Idaho school entities, respectively, to utilize Access Idaho’s PayPort payment service. In addition to PayPort, Access Idaho manages the state’s official Web portal, Idaho.gov, and specializes in online government applications.
